How would you like a life with more balance, fulfillment and resilience?
Burnout coaching helps managers rediscover their zest for life, inner balance and professional success. In three to twelve sessions (each lasting two hours), we work together to develop ways to achieve greater energy, clarity and stability.

Trans-In Burnout Coaching focuses on business
In Trans-In Burnout Coaching, you will experience a support process that takes place on an equal footing. In addition to the medical-psychiatric approach, which is central to dealing with illness-related symptoms, we offer you business-related, human leadership coaching.
Your coach speaks your language, provides effective tools for crisis support, brings decades of experience in the business environment to the table and has personally overcome existential crises. Your coaching also supports a holistic approach which, with your consent, involves business partners, case managers, human resources and others. In the overall process of burnout support, Trans-In burnout coaching plays a central role in reintegration into the world of work.
The accompanying chart shows how psychiatric and psychotherapeutic support takes up a lot of time and space at the beginning of burnout treatment. Trans-In coaching begins later and acts as complementary support, focusing on organisational psychology and business matters:
Burnout syndrome
Better understanding burnout syndrome
The growing and increasingly complex demands placed on managers on the one hand, and excessive personal performance expectations on the other, carry the risk of excessive stress. Stress and overload manifest themselves differently in each person.
Those affected or their relatives are often unsure whether this is a “normal” stress reaction or a sign of comprehensive, profound exhaustion that requires action. Below you will find some information to help you make this assessment.
Are you unsure whether you are affected by burnout?
You don’t have to figure it out on your own. We are happy to take the time to look at it together – without obligation, just for you and at your leisure.
Signs and progression of burnout
Burnout develops in several stages, with a wide range of signs and symptoms that vary from person to person. This diversity, along with the difficulty in defining its causes, is one of the main reasons why burnout is only diagnosed as a syndrome and not as a recognized illness.
Possible causes of burnout
Burnout develops gradually. Risk factors depend on both
- by the individual (internal risk factors) as well as
- depends on the environment (external risk factors).
The more factors that coincide, the higher the risk of burnout.
Internal risk factors
Excessive demands on oneself and others, difficulty setting boundaries, frequent self-doubt.
Questions for self-reflection
- Do I prioritise work above everything else?
- What role does a sense of duty play for me?
- Do I have a strong need for control?
- How clearly and consistently do I set boundaries?
- How well can I delegate tasks, or how clearly do I delegate?
- Do I often feel that I am not doing enough?
- How much space do I give my feelings in everyday life?
- And much more.
External risk factors
For example: conflicting requirements and expectations from above, non-transparent company decisions, lack of support from superiors, lack of fairness, conflicts or lack of compensation.
Questions for self-reflection
- How much freedom do I have to make decisions in everyday life?
- Do I feel more self-determined or externally determined?
- Are my leadership expectations clear?
- Do I perceive my environment as fair and appreciative?
- How important is the relationship with colleagues and superiors?
- Am I getting the support I need?
- Am I managing to strike a balance between work and leisure?
In burnout coaching, we focus on both internal and external risk factors.
We support you with individually tailored burnout coaching for prevention, support and reintegration:
- Burnout coaching prevention. Constructive ways of dealing with stressors to prevent overload.
- Burnout coaching support. From the first symptoms of exhaustion to feelings of helplessness and hopelessness.
- Burnout coaching reintegration. When returning to work after burnout.
In cases of severe burnout, psychiatric or clinical support is important. We cooperate with selected clinics and are happy to help you make the right choice.
«A little over a year ago, I was exhausted and close to a burnout. Trans-In confidently guided me through this extremely challenging time. We examined and addressed complex issues such as corporate organisation and personnel matters, as well as unhealthy personal habits. Every session was different and very valuable. I was fascinated by how quickly Jörg Eugster grasped the issues without exception and how I returned to everyday life each time with very specific tools. He has a gift for responding to people in a very precise yet appreciative manner and for pointing out possible paths with appropriate questions. Today, I live a more liberated life with a successful work-life balance. I am extremely grateful for everything Jörg has given me along the way and he has become a very important person in my life, thank you.»
«During the recovery phase after my burnout, I was very fortunate to have Trans-In AG recommended to me. With his extremely human approach, Jörg Eugster was able to give me the right support in this crisis situation. But even more importantly, he helped me to get to know myself better. We were able to work on both my personal weaknesses and my areas for development in terms of leadership skills. This development work was not only carried out on a very professional level in terms of theory and methodology, but also with the right amount of spirituality (questions of meaning) and body-related methods. In the fragile state I was in, I greatly appreciated the harmonious balance of humanity and professionalism.»
Frequently asked questions
Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our burnout coaching.
Are the costs of burnout coaching covered?
Currently, burnout coaching is not covered by health insurance for prevention, support or reintegration purposes. In individual cases, services may be covered by daily sickness benefit insurance or as part of case management.
If your company is covering the costs, we recommend involving key decision-makers such as supervisors or HR at an early stage. We often start with a joint kick-off meeting to define goals, roles and the desired level of involvement. If the burden is related to stakeholders, we find individual solutions.
Who is burnout coaching suitable for?
Trans-In is aimed at leaders. Anyone who wants to develop personally and create a life with greater well-being, clarity and inner resources can benefit from burnout coaching for prevention, support and reintegration.
Regardless of whether you are a board member, entrepreneur, C-level leader, department head or team leader, you will benefit greatly for yourself personally, your private life and your company.
Can burnout coaching take place online?
All sessions, except for the initial consultation, take place in person: burnout coaching for prevention, support and reintegration is an in-depth, transformative process in which the body plays a key role – both as a mirror of inner states and as a diagnostic tool. We also use supporting materials such as facilitation cards or symbols to make experiences visible and change tangible. For this reason, we advocate in-person sessions. In exceptional cases, online sessions may also be held.
What approaches is burnout coaching based on?
In burnout coaching for prevention, support and reintegration, we work with proven approaches such as systemic coaching, mindfulness, polarity, the triadic principle, somatic experience, cognitive behavioural therapy, existential analysis and positive psychology.
